Why Classic Monks?
Most WordPress sites don't run on WordPress. They run on a stack of 15 to 30 separate plugins, each with its own license, its own update cycle, its own dashboard widget, and its own way of breaking the next time WordPress ships a major release. You didn't choose that. It just happened. One plugin at a time, over the course of building client sites for years.
The problem nobody talks about
- A “security” or login lockdown plugin: $49 to $199 per year
- A “SMTP” or email delivery plugin: $29 to $79 per year
- A “Bricks addon” plugin: $39 to $99 per year
- A “media” plugin (renamer, WebP converter, gallery): $39 to $79 per year
- A “white label” plugin: $39 to $99 per year
- A “code snippets” plugin: free to $99 per year
- A “forms manager” for Bricks or Fluent Forms: $49 to $129 per year
- A “short links” or pretty links plugin: $29 to $99 per year
- A “broken link checker” or logs plugin: $29 to $89 per year
- A “media folders” or “post folders” plugin: $29 to $79 per year
- A new thing to update, and the one that breaks the site
- A new settings page, and the one that confuses the client
- A new license to manage, and the one that lapses at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday
- A new attack surface, and the one that gets exploited
What we asked instead
What we got right (and why)
- One toolkit, not a bundle. The features share an admin panel, a settings structure, a license, and an update cycle. They feel like one product because they are one product.
- Built for the people who run the sites. Classic Monks is built by an agency, for agencies. The features that ship are the features that come up on real client builds. Nothing is a guess.
- Bricks and WooCommerce are first-class. Not bolted on. Not upsells. Bricks gets a dedicated tab with elements, live HTML to Bricks sync, AI-assisted generation, dynamic tags, interaction triggers, and a CSS variable picker. WooCommerce gets product swatches, checkout customization, BOGO deals, coupon URL campaigns, order columns, and admin optimizations.
- Quick WordPress Setup gets you from zero to a working site in about 10 minutes. This is the flagship feature, the one most people don’t expect from a “consolidation” plugin. A guided wizard walks through site identity, plugins and themes, homepage settings, and cleanup. The site comes out the other side with Classic Monks pre-configured, sensible defaults applied, and the trial already running. It is faster than WordPress Blueprints and the result is a site you’d actually ship, not a starter template.
- AI lives inside WordPress, not next to it. Classic AI is a workspace inside the admin bar. It writes, generates, edits images, builds Bricks sections, and answers WordPress questions. No new tab. No separate account. No new context to switch into.

What it costs, What it replaces
Classic Monks Agency plan: $139 per year for 100 sites. That’s $1.39 per site per year. The plugin categories in the table above cost $400 to $1,100 per site per year if you buy them separately. For an agency running 30 client sites, replacing the 10 to 15 plugins CM covers with Classic Monks saves between $11,000 and $32,000 a year.

What we won't promise
- Backups. Pair us with a real backup solution. We will not pretend that one plugin does everything.
- Full-page caching. We do asset unloading and lazy loading. We do not do full-page or object caching. Use a dedicated caching plugin for that. WP Rocket and FlyingPress are still the right tools for the heavy lifting.
- SEO. Rank Math, Yoast, and All in One SEO are not us. They do it well. We will not reinvent them.
- Contact forms beyond Bricks and Fluent Forms. CF7, Gravity Forms, and WPForms are all in scope. Other form plugins are on the roadmap.
- Page builders beyond Bricks, Gutenberg, Elementor, and Breakdance. Elementor, Gutenberg, and Breakdance integrations roll out in 2026. Divi, Oxygen, and Beaver Builder are not in scope. Bricks is where we invest today; the others come next.
- White label on lower-tier plans. Full white label (rebrand the admin for clients) is Enterprise-only. Below Enterprise, the admin still shows the Classic Monks brand. If you need to white label, upgrade to Enterprise ($209 per year) or stay on your existing white label plugin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Classic Monks a replacement for X plugin?
For the features X plugin covers and the categories listed above, yes. For categories we don’t cover, you can keep using them. Classic Monks is not an ultimatum.
Can I migrate from my current plugin stack?
Yes. Most settings import in a few clicks. The ones that don’t are documented.
Does it work without Bricks?
Yes. Bricks integrations are optional. Everything else works on any WordPress install.
Does it work without WooCommerce?
Yes. WooCommerce features are off by default and only activate when WooCommerce is present.
What happens to my existing licenses?
You keep them until they expire. We don’t ask you to cancel anything.
