Common Combinations
For a typical blog with low admin activity:
- Disable Password Change Email: ON (reduces inbox clutter)
- Disable New User Email: OFF (you want to know about new registrations)
- All Auto Update Emails: ON (routinely updated, lots of noise)
- All others: defaults
For a high-traffic membership site:
- All “Disable” toggles: ON (admin doesn’t need any of these notifications)
- Comment Reply Email: ON with Opt-in Checked (engagement driver)
For a managed WordPress site (agency-hosted, multi-admin):
- Disable Admin Email Change: ON (no verification needed for trusted admins)
- All others: defaults
For a privacy-focused site (GDPR-conscious):
- All “Disable” toggles: ON (minimize data flow)
- Comment Reply Email: ON with Opt-in Unchecked (explicit consent required)
