What Is This Category?
Classic Monks adds 81 dynamic data sources to Bricks Builder. Use these data tags to display dynamic content from WordPress, WooCommerce, and custom sources. This is a category overview of all features in this group.
Post and Author Data
- Current Year: The current year
- Parent Title: Title of the parent post/page
- Post Class: CSS classes for the current post
- Post Year: Year the post was published
- Loop Counter: Current iteration number in a loop
- Author Posts Count: Number of posts by the current author
- Author Comments Count: Number of comments by the current author
- Comment Status: Whether comments are open or closed
- Ping Status: Whether pingbacks are open or closed
- Is Password Protected: Whether the post is password-protected
- Published Time Ago: Time since publication (e.g., “3 days ago”)
- Updated Time Ago: Time since last update
- Post Views Count: Number of times the post has been viewed
- Post Word Count: Word count of the post content

How to use dynamic data
All dynamic data sources can be enabled in the Bricks > Dynamic Data subtab. Once enabled, they appear as data tags in the Bricks editor’s dynamic data panel. Use them in any text field, attribute, or conditional logic.
